My name is Sung Lee. I am currently an associate professor of mathematics at the University of Southern Mississippi. I was originally trained as a pure mathematician but I am also greatly interested in studying theoretical physics, particularly quantum physics and cosmology. Besides physics, I am also trying to understand (often not so well-defined) complex mathematical structures emerging from biological systems, economics and finance.

This weblog is my own archive of math and physics course materials that is intended to be used for my classes. The blog entries are not posted in any particular order. So for visitors other than students in my classes it would be best to use Categories located in the right side of the blog page, but even then the blog entries are still not posted in the order my lectures would usually have been presented in class. I apologize in case should there be a confusion.

If you find any error or misinformation in my blog entries, do not hesitate to contact me by e-mail or leave a comment. You are more than welcome to ask any questions regarding the content of the blog entries through comments. If you are familiar with Latex, you can write mathematical expressions using Latex commands in the comment.

Thank you for visiting this site and I hope that what you read here may be helpful for you.
